About

Education, not encouragement

Brought To You By Drugs is a field guide to psychoactive substances for curious adults. We bring together compound profiles, research sources, molecular structures, and cultural perspectives so readers can ask better questions and explore the evidence for themselves.

Effects and risks belong together. Scientific findings, personal experience, and philosophical interpretation each have a place here, with different limits on what they can tell us.

The website is open to read in your browser. The iOS app adds offline reading and private reflection tools.

Who publishes this site

BTYBD is published by Traditionally Different Technology LLC in South Dakota, United States, for an international readership.

We do not currently have a designated scientific or clinical reviewer. Our summaries are educational material and should not be treated as independently medically reviewed advice. Read the original sources and seek qualified advice for decisions about your own health.

How to read the collection

The research library includes human and animal studies, reviews, preprints, and other writing. These sources answer different questions; a finding in one setting may not apply in another.

The library explores books, films, conversations, music, and culture. A personal account can describe an experience without establishing a general scientific claim. Including a work does not endorse every idea it contains.

Our editorial policy explains these distinctions and how to suggest a correction.

Help make it more accurate

Send corrections, missing sources, or questions to alldrugs@protonmail.com. A page link, the passage in question, and a source to check are useful starting points.
